Real Club Náutico de Palma, 25-26 March

After a fantastic year of growth of the OK Dinghy fleet in Palma, the first international regatta was held from 25-26 March at the Real Club Náutico de Palma, with the Trofeo BMComposites, kindly sponsored by fleet member Mark Branagh.

Tim Goodbody, from Ireland, dominated the racing, which attracted 15 boats and seven nations. James Waugh, also Ireland, placed second on equal points with Fabian Rossbacher, from Germany. The fleet was also bolstered by a number of Danish sailors who had been down to Palma a few times for training over the winter.

The next training and regatta in Palma will be from 18-21 May.
