The 4th BM Composites Trophy will take place in Palma Bay on 14–15 March, hosted by Real Club Náutico de Palma (RCNP). Entries are now open for the OK and Snipe classes.

This year’s event is shaping up to be the biggest yet. With 25 resident OK dinghies based in Palma and strong interest from visiting sailors from the UK and across Europe, a highly competitive OK fleet is expected. The Snipe class continues to grow in popularity, with at least 12 boats anticipated from Mallorca and Menorca.

In the Snipe fleet, Victor Pérez will be looking to defend his title from last year. There are also strong rumours of a top-level OK entry list, potentially including 2024 OK World Champion Nick Craig, Andy Davis, and leading sailors from Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France, Spain, and beyond.

Past winners of the BM Composites Trophy include Tim Goodbody (Ireland), Alejandro Muscat (Spain), and Luke Deagan (New Zealand)—highlighting the calibre of sailors this event attracts. With such talent on the start line, anticipation is high to see who will take the trophy in 2026.

This regatta also marks the first event in the OK International calendar to count towards World Ranking points.

BM Composites will once again host the legendary Saturday evening BBQ and disco, and we extend our thanks to Vivi and Gaspar for organising logistics and the on-the-water race management.

Entries are open now via the RCNP website.

We look forward to a fantastic weekend of top-level racing in Palma Bay.

Some boats are available but going fast so contact Mark Branagh as soon as possible.
