2003 Annual General Meeting of OKDIA

The Meeting will be held in Fort Aguada, Goa, India on Tuesday April 1 at 16:00

Agenda

  1. To receive the committee reports and annual accounts for the year up to 31 December 2002.
  2. (a) To elect the following officers and members of the committee:
    President
    Vice-President, Northern Hemisphere
    Webmaster

    (b) To record changes in the composition of the technical committee.

  3. Appointment of an auditor.
  4. Membership subscriptions
  5. The following proposals have been received from the British Association:
    1. Proposed rule changes to be put to the AGM in Goa.
      1. Reduce minimum permissible hull weight to 71Kg from April 2004 (as a first step to an eventual reduction to 65Kg by 2020).
      2. Increase maximum corrector weights permissible to 10Kg from April 2004 (in preparation for gradual reduction of the hull weight).
      3. Allow foam core to centreboards and rudders from April 2004 (to reduce their cost).

    2. Proposed change to the OKDIA constitution:

      (a) Reduce the length of races at the Worlds to as near 75 minutes as possible and increase the number of races to 2 per day i.e. 10. For 2004 Worlds.
